• Phone number: Used to create and authenticate your account via OTP verification.
• Name: Used to personalize your experience within the app.
• Selected categories: Your preferred service categories (e.g., Doctors, Dining) to tailor recommendations.
• Search queries: Text and voice queries you enter when searching for services.
• Chat history: Your conversations with our AI assistant, stored to provide continuity and improve responses.
• Bookmarks: Vendors and services you save for quick access.
• Analytics events: In-app interactions such as button taps, screen views, and CTA interactions — used to improve the App.

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your account securely.
• Provide AI-powered search and recommendations tailored to your preferences.
• Enable you to save and revisit bookmarked vendors.
• Improve the accuracy and relevance of our AI responses over time.
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to enhance App features and performance.
• Send you important service-related notifications (not marketing spam).

We work with the following third-party services to operate Daleel. Your data may be processed by these providers strictly as necessary to deliver our service:

We do not sell your data to any third parties. We do not share your data with any third parties except as described above (OpenAI for AI functionality, Supabase for storage, and Twilio for OTP delivery).

We take data security seriously. Your data is protected through:

• Row Level Security (RLS) in Supabase, ensuring users can only access their own records.
• Encrypted data transmission over HTTPS/TLS for all communications.
• Secure phone-based authentication — we never store passwords.
• Access controls limiting which team members can view user data.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, all associated data — including your profile, chat history, bookmarks, and analytics events — will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and all associated data via the Settings screen within the App.
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account.

To exercise any of these rights, you can delete your account directly in the App (Settings → Delete Account) or contact us at daleelappkwt@gmail.com.

Daleel is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Daleel is designed for users in the State of Kuwait. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data may be processed on servers located outside Kuwait (including servers operated by OpenAI, Supabase, and Twilio in their respective regions).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via the contact information associated with your account. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
